Paradise Island Phytophotodermatitis

I thought I had developed some sun damage on my left hand while on vacation in Paradise Island, Bahamas. However, my dermatologist, Dr Parikh, has diagnosed phytophotodermatitis - also known as "margarita dermatitis". It is a reaction between fresh lime juice and the hot, hot sun. Who knew? Not me. Luckily, it is only temporary and should fade within a few weeks. :) Happy.
